I started my yoga journey in 2004 with weekly classes at a community club. After a 10-year break, I resumed daily practice in 2014 while in China, though I noticed a decline in my abilities. Upon returning to Singapore, I joined Real Yoga, where the practice became more challenging, and I discovered I had scoliosis. Yoga then became a way to manage the condition. In 2022, I completed a 200-hour teacher training course, deepening my understanding of yoga as a philosophy that unites body, mind, and soul. Taking the course was life changing experience as it not only strengthen my own practice, but it also gave me the skills and knowledge to inspire others on their yoga journey.

What I Love About Teaching Yoga
I love teaching yoga because it allows me to share my passion while guiding students to feel confident. It also mirrors civil engineering’s focus on equilibrium and precision. Through teaching, I continue to learn and grow alongside with my students.

I enjoy reading and exploring new foods. Trying different cuisines and discovering new flavors brings a sense of adventure and joy to my life, just like yoga.
